Informal and friendly get-togethers to talk about modern fiction.  The emphasis is on enjoyment, not erudition! 
The group meets at The Chequers early evening on a Monday.
The meetings are monthly.

Churchill Chequers Golf Society

Churchill Chequers Golf Society is open to all residents of Churchill and users of the Chequers Pub in the village, no matter what handicap, skill, age or gender. Matches are  held regularly at Wychwood Golf Course (see below), based the Stableford points system. Other matches may also be arranged as and when needed.

Churchill and Sarsden Lunch Club

A lunch is held on the 4th Tuesday of every month and anyone who is 65 years of age or above and lives in Churchill or Sarsden is very welcome to attend. It takes place in All Saints Church meeting room.

This is a thriving village get-together, the food is home cooked and the charge is £4.
