Around the Village

Because it is a relatively small village with a population of less than 600, it is easy to walk around - perhaps leaving time for a drink and a meal at the Chequers.  The local hills are good walking country with superb views and many well-signposted footpaths, including the Oxfordshire Way and the D'Arcy Dalton Way which runs through the middle of Churchill on its route from Wormleighton north of Banbury to Wayland's Smithy on the Ridgeway.
